Felix Mildenberger

Felix Mildenberger studied conducting at the University of Music Freiburg and later at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. In addition, he studied with conductors such as David Zinman, Paavo Järvi, Neeme Järvi and Markus Stenz in masterclasses, as well as with Bernard Haitink, whom he has repeatedly served as assistant since then.

He conducted London Symphony Orchestra in numerous concerts since winning the Donatella Flick LSO Conducting Competition in 2018 and served as assistant conductor to Sir Simon Rattle, François-Xavier Roth and Gianandrea Noseda among others. He is a continued scholarship holder of the Dirigentenforum.

As from the 2021-22 season, Mildenberger is principal guest conductor of the Filarmonica Teatro Rego in Turin.

The German conductor has also worked with the Orchestre National de France, the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, the NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover, the SWR Symphonieorchester, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin and the Deutsches SymphonieOrchester Berlin.

In March 2022 he is making his debut with the Concertgebouw Orchestra.
