Sam Panner
Born in Bethesda, Maryland (USA), Sam Panner began violin lessons at three years old and studied with Ronda Cole from 2005 until 2017, when he graduated from high school.
Sam attended Yale University, where he earned his bachelor degree in Mathematics. While at Yale, he studied violin with Kyung Yu. Upon completion of his undergraduate studies in 2022, Sam moved to Amsterdam to pursue his master’s degree in violin at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the class of Peter Brunt. He graduated in June 2024.
Sam Panner has worked with such ensembles as the Verbier Festival Orchestra, the Rotterdams Philharmonic Orchestra, and Amsterdam Sinfonietta, where he was an academy member in the spring of 2023. A dedicated chamber musician, he is an active member of several ensembles based in Amsterdam.
Sam has participated in masterclasses by Alex Kerr, Evgeny Sviridov, and Hilary Hahn, among others.
