Zofia Kiniorska

Zofia Kiniorska is a Polish conductor. She began her music education at the age of six, majoring in piano. In 2021, she earned her master's degree in symphony and opera conducting from the Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.

During the 2022-23 season, she held the position of resident conductor with the Sinfonia Varsovia as part of the Polish National Institute of Music and Dance scholarship program. In 2022, she conducted the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra's New Year's Eve Concert. In 2023 she took part in the Gstaad Conducting Academy 2023.

Currently, Kiniorska serves as an assistant conductor at the Poznań Opera House.

She won several prizes, including the Audience Award at the Conductors' Academy with the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich in 2022, and was a semifinalist at the 2022 Premio Guido Cantelli and at the 2023 Donatella Flick Conducting Competition in London.

She worked with the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice during the first edition of a masterclass with Marin Alsop in 2021 and has also participated in masterclasses led by Johannes Schlaefli, Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, Neeme Järvi, Jaap van Zweden and Kristjan Järvi.
