Dominik Winterling
Born in Zwiesel (Germany), Dominik Winterling is appointed as Managing Director of the Koninklijk Concertgebouworkest with effect from 1 March 2021.
Mr Winterling previously served as Managing Director of the Stiftung Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg (2015-2021). In this role, he oversaw all fundraising activities including sponsorship, donations and legacies and developed corporate sponsorships with companies such as Montblanc, Bank Julius Baer, SAP and Deutsche Telekom.
From 2007-2014, he worked for the International Heidelberger Frühling Music Festival, first as Head of Finance, Marketing and Organization (2007–2009) and subsequently as Head of Artistic Planning and Business Administration (2009–2014).
Mr Winterling holds a master’s degree in piano from the Mannheim University for Music and Performing Arts as well as master’s degrees in business administration with specializations in Marketing and Finance from the University of Mannheim and from ESSEC Business School in Cergy-Pontoise, France.
