Mariëtta Feltkamp
From 1988 to 1992, double bassist Mariëtta Feltkamp studied at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam and at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. Her teachers included Hans Krul, Knut Guettler and Quirijn van Regteren Altena.
She joined the double bass section of Holland Symfonia (now Het Balletorkest) in 1991. She has subbed with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra.
She has been a member of the Concertgebouworkest since 1993.
Mariëtta Feltkamp has a J.J. Stadlmann-bass, built in 1767, from the collection of Foundation Concertgebouworkest on loan.
