Concerts with Damon Albarn at the Gashouder 11 February

Important information about the concert featuring Damon Albarn on 11 February

Dear visitor, 

We look forward to welcoming you to Damon Albarn: Symphonic Loops, a special collaboration with the Concertgebouw Orchestra, Damon Albarn, creative partner Pierre Audi, conductor André de Ridder and numerous guest musicians on 11 February! This email will provide you with all the information you need before attending the concert.

The e-tickets you have received by email are also available in your account at concertgebouworkest.nl. If you have symptoms or are unable to attend for some other reason, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible, but no later than one hour before the concert begins, by emailing klantenservice@concertgebouworkest.nl. You may then convert the value of your concert ticket to a credit for later use.

Admission check

To gain admission to the concert, you will need to have the following to hand:

  • Your e-ticket
  • Your Covid certificate (i.e. proof of vaccination, a negative test result or recovery in the CoronaCheck app) or your EU Digital Covid Certificate (EU DCC)
  • Your ID

PLEASE NOTE: From 8 February your proof of vaccination will be valid for 270 days after you received the final dose of your primary vaccination. Getting a booster vaccination extends the validity of your proof of vaccination. Read more on the Rijksoverheid website.

Visitors from other EU countries will need to present the EU Digital COVID Certificate (EU DCC) and a valid ID in order to be admitted to concerts. This also applies to visitors from countries outside the EU that joined the EU DCC system. Here you can find a list of the countries that joined the EU DCC system.

Starting time

As the coronavirus measures in place require that the concert end no later than 10.00 p.m., we have had to change the starting time to 8.00 p.m. Please note that the concert will start at exactly 8.00 p.m. The Gashouder will open its doors at 7.15. We ask that you arrive well in advance to allow enough time for the coronavirus check.

Location

The concert is being given at the Gashouder on the grounds of the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam. The grounds are easily accessible by public transport or bicycle. Please consult the Gashouder website to read more about how to get there on public transport. If you bike to the Gashouder, please be sure to park your bike in one of the designated bike spaces.

Coronavirus measures

In accordance with the coronavirus measures in place, those attending the concert will be seated 1.5 m apart. One of our staff will show you where to sit when you arrive. We ask that you please comply with our staff’s instructions. You are required to wear a mask when moving about. Once you have reached your seat, you no longer have to wear a mask.

Practical information

  • The concert is wheelchair-accessible. If you or one of your fellow attendees uses a wheelchair, please contact a member of staff at the venue.
  • The concert will last about ninety minutes. There is no interval.
  • No food or drink facilities are available at the Gashouder.
  • There is limited opportunity to use the sanitary facilities.
  • There is a cloakroom at the Gashouder. Bags larger than A4 size are not allowed in the concert hall.
  • Filming or taking pictures during the concert is prohibited.
