Second bassoon (with obligatory instrument contrabassoon)

Repertoire will include:

• W.A. Mozart, Bassoon Concerto K. 191, first movement
• C.M. von Weber, Bassoon Concerto in F major, opus 75, first movement

Please add recent recordings (i.e. Mozart - Bassoon Concerto) to your application.

For the first audition round specific recorded solos and excerpts can be requested later at the discretion of the audition committee.

The orchestra's activities include concerts in the Netherlands and abroad as well as radio, CD and television recordings and a broad range of streaming media activities.

The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra works to provide its members with suitable instruments, which are loaned to the musicians during their employment with the orchestra.

Our contrabassoon is available to audition candidates on request. Details will follow with audition invitation.

We reserve the right to make a preliminary selection based on applications and recordings.
