Michael Nodel
Born into a musical family, Michael Nodel has been playing the violin since the age of 5. He had violin lessons with Olga Voitova-Bloch, Alexander Kostin, Daniela Jung and Simon Fordham.
Between 2016 and 2020 he was a junior student at the University of Music in Munich with Lena Neudauer.
Nodel won several prizes at the German Jugend Musiziert competition, and in 2019 won 2nd prize at the Agustin Aponte International Competition.
He graduated from the Pestalozzi-Gymnasium in Munich in July 2020 and continued his studies at the University of Music in Munich in the class of Mi-kyung Lee.
The violinist as been active in several youth orchestras, including the Bavarian State Youth Orchestra and as concertmaster in the ODEON Youth Symphony Orchestra.
He frequently performs as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles.
