Pablo Flores Regidor
Born in Sevilla, Spain, Pablo Flores Regidor began to play the violin at the age of five. In 2014, he enrolled at Musikene in San Sebastián, where he studied with Keiko Wataya, finishing his bachelor’s degree in 2018 with Honors. He also studied with Daniel Dodds at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. From 2019 to 2022 Pablo studied with Friedemann Wezel at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Leipzig, where he received his master’s degree.
As a member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester between 2018 and 2021, he took part in tours under the baton of such conductors as Herbert Blomstedt, Daniele Gatti and Jonathan Nott. In 2021 Pablo joined the Gustav Mahler Academy in Bolzano. He has received masterclasses from Alfred Brendel, Carolin Widmann, Clive Brown, Julian Rachlin, Helmut Lachenmann, Igor Gruppmann and Leland Chen, among others.
The violinist joined the orchestra of his native city, the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla, in 2020, and in 2022 started playing with the MDR Sinfonieorchester in Leipzig. He also played in the Orquesta Sinfónica de Bilbao and the Orchestra de la Comunitat Valenciana.
