Maria Victoria Muñoz Zaragozá
Born in 2000 in Alberic (south of Valencia, Spain), Maria Muñoz Zaragozá started playing the oboe when she was eight years old, taking lessons with with her father, Juan Bautista Muñoz Gea. She studied with Vicente Llimerá Dus at the Joaquín Rodrigo Conservatoire in Valencia, where she graduated in 2022. Maria was also member of the Barenboim-Said Akademie in Sevilla, receiving lessons from Ramón Ortega Quero and Jose Luís García Vegara.
Maria has had masterclasses with teachers such as Fermín Clemente, Jose Manuel González, Françoix Leleux, Juan Pechuán, Jose Maria Ferrero, Stefan Schilli, David Walter, Miriam Pastor, Aitor Llimerá and Victor Anchel.
In recent years, the oboist has played in professional orchestras in Spain, including the Orquestra de la Comunitat Valenciana, the Balearic Islands Symphony Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra of Castellón. She has also played in several youth orchestras, such as the Spanish National Youth Orchestra, the Youth Orchestra of Valencia, and the Greek Youth Symphony Orchestra.
