Concertgebouw Orchestra joins Symphony
Music lovers from all over the world can enjoy the best symphonic concerts of this moment for a monthly fee via symphony.live. the platform also offers interviews, background stories, documentaries and the weekly live showcase Symphony Night Live.
Starting this autumn, several programmes of the Concertgebouw orchestra are going to be streamed via Symphony each season. Our first concert via this platform was Opening Night 2022. The concert is still available on Symphony.
The concert on 27 October will be streamed via Symphony on 3 December, 8 p.m. Led by Daniel Harding, the orchestra plays Brahms’ Violin concerto with Leonidas Kavakos as soloist, followed by Beethoven’s Sixth symphony. Interviews with oboist Alexei Ogrintchouk and flutist Kersten McCall will be shown before the concert and during the interval.
The concert of 12 February conducted by Iván Fischer and that of 21 April conducted by Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla will also be shown at Symphony.
Other orchestras that appear on Symphony are the Los Angeles Philharmonic, The Cleveland Orchestra, the Budapest Festival Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra and the Czech Philharmonic.
