Lena Aigner

Lena Aigner received her first violin lessons at the age of four. When she was ten years old, she enrolled in the Mozarteum Salzburg to study with Klara Flieder-Pantillon. In 2018 she began her bachelor studies with Lily Francis and Meesun Hong Coleman, graduating in 2024. 

Lena also holds a degree in saxophone. Both as a violinist and a saxophone player, she has won numerous first prizes in Austrian competitions.  

She has taken masterclasses with Ingolf Turban, Christian Altenburger, Henja Semmler, Tobias Feldmann and Ulf Wallin.  

Lena gained early orchestral experience as section leader and concertmaster in the Salzburg State Youth Orchestra. In 2022, Lena Aigner participated in the Vienna Philharmonic Summer Academy, again as concertmaster. From 2022 to 2024 she was a member of the first violin section of the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, allowing her to work with many renowned conductors and musicians. 

A passionate chamber musician, Lena performed at the Bowdoin Chamber Music Festival (USA) in the summer of 2024.
