Academy 2021/2022
PHOTOGRAPHS – For the Academy students of 2021/2022, several wonderful concert performances and the ceremonial presentation of their certificates formed the grand finale of their year spent under the wings of the Concertgebouw Orchestra. Here are some of the highlights of the season.
The Academy students of the 2021/2022 season started their year in September 2021 with the amazing Opening Night on Dam Square. Full of energy, the young talented musicians embarked on the productions in which they played with the orchestra alongside their mentors, on coaching sessions, individual lessons and chamber music classes. Starting with the lockdown in December, things ground to a halt for a while and only the lessons online continued. But as soon as the audiences were allowed back, the complete programme with all its scheduled chamber music concerts was able to proceed once again.
